The Embraer Historical Center Project began in 2006 with the aim of managing the company's corporate memory. It involves recovering, preserving, and making accessible details of Embraer’s history—details that, due to their uniqueness and significance, spark curiosity and interest among scholars both in Brazil and abroad.

This ongoing recovery process keeps the company's memory organized and preserved, ensuring that the knowledge and experiences gained over four decades remain available for reference.

The Historical Center—an exhibition space—was inaugurated on August 20, 2007. Located in São José dos Campos, the Center preserves and displays a historical collection comprising documents and information on Embraer’s institutional journey and the evolution of its products, spanning from the company's origins to the present day.
